FAQ

The Team

Phil Kindler and Marsha Jacquay are the creative duo behind It's A Blast! Glass. Phil is the master sandblaster and of all things custom. Marsha is the master of the website, business operations, and hand-painted applied designs. Gemma (the gallery dog) provides licks, toys to be played with, and general entertainment.

How are the designs etched into the glass

The designs are hand applied directly to the plain glass using a liquid vinyl product or a machine-cut stencil. The stencil is hand weeded and applied to the glass. With our sandblasting equipment, we carve deeply into the glass. Leaving our glass with a tactile and dimensional design. Check out our Blog - Our Process for Creating a Sandblasted Design.
